I consider myself lucky to be able to say that without a doubt, I love what I do. Being a dentist isn’t just about treating teeth and gums. Every day I have the privilege of meeting new people and helping them get healthy and stay healthy.

I was born in Tokyo and have lived all around the world including Africa and Australia. My family finally settled in Colorado in 1982. I graduated from Ponderosa High School in 1989 and spent four years in the U.S. Navy. Being in the navy gave me the opportunity to connect with many people fr
om a variety unique backgrounds.

Following my navy days, I went back to school, earning my bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado. I opened Castle Valley Dental in August of 2001, closely followed by opening Falcon Dental Care in 2004.

My large family is a constant source of inspiration as we face life’s triumphs and challenges together. My wife Stacie and I were married in 1990.

I consider myself to be a person who is always willing to try new things. I love to travel, camp, cycle, boat and try anything that involves my friends and family being together. I love spending time with people, but also enjoy time to myself reading and listening to great music.

I strive every day to help people live better by learning what it takes to have healthy teeth. We achieve this by understanding what is important to our patients and improving the way that they feel about themselves. There is no better feeling than seeing a patient feel confident about their smile.

I LOVE working in Dental! My favorite work days are the ones where I leave feeling like I have helped a patient resolve an insurance or ledger issue, or be able to help them with financing to get the care they need. I believe that dentistry is not just about teeth, but about helping create a healthy whole body.

I married my honey in 2008 and my family grew from having 3 boys of my own to having 8 boys and 1 girl with our blended family. We go camping several times a year and enjoy our beautiful Colorado lives. My favorite place to be is anywhere my toes are in the sand, and the warm sun is beating down on my face. Of course, a book would be in my hand. I love to create new projects, normally made out of wood.

I really enjoy working with multiple practices. I have a real passion for learning and have a knack for making growth happen in a dental office. I love a challenge and get really excited about working with office to see positive growth.

I feel beyond grateful for the wonderful life I have. I have an amazing family I am so very proud of and a career that I love. I believe in being better today than I was yesterday, loving those around me, and enjoying each moment to its fullest.
